Back To Where I'm From

Well, here I am, back in Pennsylvania. In, Avonmore. I had but 2 days back in the Bay Area before I had to load all my shit back into a suitcase and head out. It's crazy, the more and more I fly, the more I freak out on planes. Thanks, Eric. :)

I'm here to visit with my family who I am very close with but rarely get to see. Here is a little snapshot of what is going on right now...in the basement (yes, on the east coast, this is where you hang) my dad and uncle are blazed jammin' out on the drums to...let's see in the last half hour I heard; Paul Simon, some awesome African beats, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ashanti, Bad Company, Buena Vista Social Club, 2-Pac, and currently Next's "Wifey," one cousin yelling at my dad and uncle claiming they don't know what music is, one cousin passed out after a stop at the local bar where she won the bowling tournament and $15, and me, well, I was working on the computer...this is why I love my family. The closer we get to Christmas, the more family comes, the crazier it will get. Stay tuned.

Anyways, I sold a painting the other day. I need to get back into painting, it makes my heart and soul sing. I brought my paints. www.mariasperanza.com. The one sold is "Safety in Confinement." Quite symbolic that I sold that one.
