Sweet Valentine's Day Gifts

It's almost here folks...Valentine's Day.

Over the years I've had many a mixed feeling about this "holiday." When I was little, I loved Valentine's Day. It meant making all kinds of Valentine's related crafts at school, giving and receiving those Barbie and Super Hero themed Valentine's day cards (and looking to see if your crush wrote anything special on yours) and eating a ton of heart-shaped candy.

When I was single, Valentine's Day meant getting glam and going out (with a bang) with the girls...and then going home alone in anguish wondering, 'why in the hell haven't I met my soul mate yet!' Ah yes, I remember, Love definitely seemed somewhat elusive in those single days.

Now married, Valentine's Day has fondly become our excuse to stay in, be lazy, order pizza and watch cheesy movies on Netflix. Love it!

A Minute in the Life: A-Ha

And the Spell was Finally Broken.

Tell me it's not the best feeling when:
..You look around and realize that you are supported and surrounded by the most amazing of people..
..You see someone else do something good for someone else, and they never see you see them..
..Your eyes, heart and head are finally freed in one fantastic moment from some damn, ridiculous, love spell..
..You're sick and are forced to stay home...on the couch...watching tv, staring at the wall, you know, doing those things you "never have time to do"..

Well, I figured out why I had such a hard time running at the gym the other day; feeling faint, bad run time.....and, I'm now on antibiotics.
Great. Why now? Grrr.
So, I haven't ran since Monday, I'm going to try for tomorrow. I'm supposed to be able to run 5 miles by Friday.
I have a feeling I am going to be doing ALOT of catching up next week.
