Back to the Gypsy that I was.

If you go back far enough in my blog, you will read an entry that I wrote, when I embarked on a two month journey through Maui, Tokyo and Hong Kong. At that time I moved all of my belongings into storage in San Francisco. I've been living at my parents house, out of boxes and suitcases since I returned to the States....a year ago! That was not the original plan...obviously; but it's what ended up happening. I finally found a new spot in San Francisco and during the move from my storage unit into my new flat last weekend, I found my tan cowboy boots. The ones I got for $5 at a garage sale in the Outer Richmond, where I used to live. The ones I wore almost everyday two summers ago. The ones that traveled with me on every plane ride I took since I bought them. The instant I put them on, I felt like I had finally returned back to the true me, back to the gypsy that I was, and still am.

I saw this hanging on my sister's refrigerator today and thought "how appropriate." She's the little Japanese girl and I am, of course, the gypsy.

I can't wait to see your new place, you'll have to fill me in on the details ..

I love watching you drift thru all these different phases. You grow so beautifully to me <3

That photo of you & O speaks volumes!

I love how you never forget to stay TRUE to you ..

Those boots were made for walking! ;)

Thank you Varne <3 That really means a lot. You are gifted with the way you string words together. Everything sounds poetic. I love to read whatever it is that you write, songs, poems, letters, write more, you do it so beautifully.
